Frequently asked questions
Accounts, campaigns, test payments and access to the sandbox.
Is real money collected?
No. The current release is a sandbox. MegaWallet uses test funds and Stripe is restricted to test mode. No real charges, payouts or reward deliveries take place.
How much does access cost?
Sandbox access costs EUR 0. There is no subscription or platform fee in this release. Test pledge amounts are not service prices. Commercial pricing has not been announced.
How do I publish a campaign?
Create an account, save a draft with a budget, milestones and risks, then submit it for operator review. An approved campaign becomes public. Review is not engineering certification or investment advice.
Are the opening projects real?
The opening collection consists of fictional demo campaigns and concept illustrations. They are explicitly labelled. Campaign descriptions supplied by members are their responsibility.
When is a test pledge counted?
Only after a verified operator result matches the pledge reference, amount and currency. Opening the return page alone does not confirm payment. Declined, cancelled or expired attempts are excluded.
Which languages and project types are available?
The interface has 44 language choices. Member campaign content stays in the language in which it was written. Categories include robotics, AI tools, computer vision, education, assistive technology and developer hardware.
Can I get a refund?
No real funds are collected, so there is no real monetary refund in this sandbox. If a test result is incorrect, contact support with the pledge reference. Do not send card numbers, passwords or API keys.
